Now that's not such a problem since I have been saving every... Add a single character, then backspace, and you can't save the file again. Being in a hurry I just used Insert Character and placed a gave accent on the iota as a combining diacritic. File originally saved OK.
It will need to be reformatted but that's an easy task. Once with styles.xml and this time with content.xml. This strange error started to come up when I wanted to save, LibreOffice would say "Could not save document, error in writing sub document context.xml". I found a web site that told me how to fix the problem but I didn't bookmark it & now I can not find it. I have no knowledge of xml at all, and although I unzipped the .odt and looked at the content.xml I couldn't tell if it was good, bad or anything in between...

I was able to save it both as a odt doc & MS word doc but when I bring the document back into my notebook it will not allow me to I also checked my backup file & it has the same problem. Let me know if I need to send anything else. Please note that I imported all the text from a Microsoft word document (.docx).
I had to use Insert Character instead to add my combining diacritic. Thanks for your help!
