Only select the Outlook Express Store Folder option if you have moved your *.dbx files after exporting them. I do have another mail program called Mozilla Thunderbird which seems unaffected by this problem. So then I tried downloading gmail and set up an account hoping maybe to transfer the 160 plus emails in the inbox to it. I didn't have to follow the rest of the instructions! I then I downloaded my mail - but nothing will open.
