I've used Defraggler before, and it takes quite a while to defrag a partition or harddrive - unless you use the quick defrag method. When you run the program it reports the number of fragments for each of these files. Running this tool on every boot is silly and will accomplish nothing except lengthen boot times. I'm thinking no, but I just wanted to make sure.Click to expand... No I don't think so...

I mean, Why don't let that Defraggler optimize the files and that it take into account prefetch files (layout.ini and .pf files)?
They move massive chunks of data around and therefore need to be defragmented quite often. Please don't fill out this field.
